As we’ve previously reported, the first full week after the I-85 bridge collapse in Atlanta was a relatively easy one because many people were on vacation for spring break.
But with everyone back to school and work, the Georgia Department of Transportation expects traffic to increase up to 20 percent beginning today.
We’re monitoring this morning’s commute from GDOT’s Transportation Management Center in Atlanta. But we’d also like to hear from you. If you have a story to share about your commute – and if you’re willing to be quoted in the newspaper – contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
While you’re waiting to leave, check out our in-depth exploration of who’s to blame for the bridge collapse.
